Fremont Micro Devices (ShenZhen) Co. Ltd, is a fabless IC design house headquartered in Shenzhen, China. It is founded by industry renowned Silicon Valley returnees, and backed financially and strategically by successful international companies and high technology investment funds.
We specialize in Non-volatile memory products and IP licensing. Our patented technologies have a significant cost and performance advantages over our competitors. We expect our company to capture a significant portion of the US $950 million EEPROM market.
Fremont Micro Devices strives not only to be the best IC design house in China, but also in the world. In EEPROM we have the best design and technology among all the competitors, enabling us to compete favorably against industrial leaders such as ATMEL, ST Micros and Samsung. Within one year we have captured a substantial share of the EEPROM market. We expect growth to exceed 50% per year for the next three years and will become the dominant EEPROM supplier in the near future.
Besides the above mentioned EEPROM product line, we are also developing:
- Power management ICs, which include regulators, DC-DC and AC-DC convertors.
- Logic compatible OTP. Our patented technology has been proven at the 0.18 um node at UMC and TSMC. We will migrate this technology down to 0.13um, 90 and 70nm in the immediate future.
